非日常より、日常を豊かに

非日常が、日常より魅力的な響きを持つようになったのはいつ頃からだろうか？
確かに、非日常には、今まで体験したことのない未知の世界へ誘ってくれるのではないかと期待させてくれる、魅力がある。でも最近、気づいたことがある。
新しい体験ばかりに意識がいくあまり、毎日淡々と繰り広げられる日常が興味や関心の対象になっていなかった、ということ。実は、日常の中にこそ、毎日を楽しく生きるヒントがたくさん潜んでいるのではないか。
そんな素朴な好奇心から、瀬戸内海の島に「せとうち暮らしの研究処」という、日常の暮らしについて改めて見つめ直す場を創りました。
